L’ésser còsmic místic grandiloqüent que, des del seu interior, fa que tot vibri, tremoli i reverberi a través dels paranys de la cronologia. I Sobreviu: Supraviu: SOBREEXISTEIX! D’aquesta manera, amb una potència extraordinària, aquest poema fet ésser (i viceversa) es confon amb els abismes, que són sempre trampes lingüístiques. Orlando és la gran transgressora, l’eterna, l’essencial, la immortal, la baula sofisticada, i tu, Mireia, has creat un huracà, una explosió de matrius motrius i significances. La torxa segueix il•luminant i ens ofereixes, doncs, el seguiment d’aquest testimoni imprescindible, entre veus d’altri d’altres, com ecos dins la immensitat (de Christina Woolf Virgina Rossetti, nuclis primordials, magmàtics, volcànics, vessadores espectaculars… Fins al/la poeta que tot just ara està naixent entre crits i anhels d’absolut). I ho fas humilment, com quan Blake va saber que l’infinit rau dins un gra de sorra: el teu desert poètic ens inunda de meravella a través de tots aquests versos. Has creat, doncs, o t’ha(n) creat versus has sigut creada? Fins a quin punt tu has anat a Orlando o Orlando t’ha encarnat? D’encarnació, de necessitat, de cadena humana, de columna espinal espiritual és del que parles, el que vius, el que transmets a través d’aquests poemes fortíssims. Naturalment Orlando, of course!, no pot ser cap altr@. El teu poemari és poderós, fantàstic, diferent, intel•ligent, fresc, vital, rítmic, melodiós, (in)harmònic, salvatge, brutal, inclement, autèntic, bategant… És una alenada vital total existencial. Refresques i emociones amb cada vers, que és com si hagués nascut per fecundar la teva boca amb sonoritat, auguri i tempesta. i quedar-hi atrapat una bona estona. Segona: capbussar-me en el pròleg de la Meri Torras per decidir qui té raó. Si ella o jo o l'altre, és a dir, retirar del foc, on es cou i espetega l' &lt;em&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/em&gt; i deixar-lo reposar perquè es faci més saborós.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;En aquesta pausa -necessària per tal de respirar una mica i esperar que es dissipi la boira matutina-, m'apresso a dir que el Pròleg, extens i precís, ja ho explica tot, el com, el qui i el perquè i, per tant, no em deixa res per a mi, res que jo pugui dir que sigui nou.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;I és que, d'un banda, la poesia de la Mireia, concretament aquests poemes de l'Orlando, omplen tota la superfície visible, l'omplen de gotes d'oli que s'escamparan irremisiblement i, de l'altra banda, el pròleg es prodiga en consideracions, laterals o ben centrals, que també engrandeixen el text comú.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Per dir-ho d'una altra manera, aquest foc creuat entre l'autora i la prologuista, entre l'obra i el comentari, em situa en un punt tan vulnerable que més em vandria emmudir o elevar una pregària de contricció.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Això no obstant, regirant pels plecs, veig que em queda una escletxa per dir-hi la meva sense incórrer en reiteracions. Jo no entro en detalls, no considero el poemari anatòmicament. Vull veure'l anímicament, globalment, com un tot que se'm posa al davant i em desafia. I veure'l com el rastre que deix, per l'emoció que produeix i, doncs, per la totalitat que abraça...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Bandejant l'anàlisi i l'anècdota, crec que ens trobem davant d'un llibre introductori, d'una gran entrada, d'un horitzó que se'ns obre als ulls. I també com una invitació al desert, a un desert ple de paranys, en el benentès que no són obstacles malignes, sinó bondats; diria que éssers vius, bestioles enamorades del caminant impúdic.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;El qui s'endinsa, per tant, cal que es despulli prèviament, que renunciï a tota vestimenta, que es tregui la faixa i les polaines. Nu, absolutament vulnerable, s'enfrontarà a la destrucció del món conegut per habitar dins una bombolla tensa, a punt d'esclatar, dins una esfera plena d'arestes. La Mireia Vidal-Conte, la dona gargot, com s'anomena ella és, per això, lacònicament suggerent i escriu en clau de no-convencionalisme, de no sintaxi, de no-pacte, de no cap concessió. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Pert tot això, qui hagi llegit &lt;em&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/em&gt; i no s'hagi adonat que acaba de visitar un indret inexplorat i, per tant, reblert de riqueses, és que ha de tornar a llegir: ha de tornar-hi i tornar-hi fins que els versos, agulles de platí, li produexin la màxima excitació.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Màrius Sampere. Ara és el punt on abandonar aquestes pàgines i anar de dret a la tripa, saltar-se fins i tot l’índex, i gosar poder llegir alguna cosa d’això.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="font-variant: small-caps; mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;L’escriptura, l’inconegut i tu&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;A &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt; no li cal preàmbul perquè, d’entrada, la primera clau de lectura ens arriba a la coberta, amb un títol (al qual caldrà tornar) i amb el nom de la seva autora, Mireia Vidal-Conte: un &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;anomenar&lt;/i&gt; que implica la trajectòria poètica reconeguda d’algú que, sense treva, aposta una vegada i altra per la literatura i s’escriu, la mateixa i diversa, a cadascun dels seus llibres &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;a&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;amb&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;contra&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;des&lt;/i&gt; &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;de&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;per&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;segons&lt;/i&gt;, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;sobre&lt;/i&gt;... la tradició literària, pròpia i apropiada (que ja és pròpia). No hi ha cap altra manera que aquest trànsit.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;A més, el segon motiu —i aquest ja particular del poemari que ens ocupa— pel qual &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt; no necessita (aquest) pròleg és perquè ell mateix s’ha bastit &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;naturalment&lt;/i&gt; d’un pòrtic que ve a ser l’avís, gairebé dantesc, d’ingrés a la infernal benedicció de l’escriptura. En efecte, el llibre s’obre amb quatre poemes numerats en romans que, de fet, en conformen un de sol, i vénen a ser una poètica, en el sentit esmentat més amunt. M’hi entretindré, doncs, perquè atorguen, al meu entendre, un paràmetre de lectura útil per endinsar-nos al poemari. &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Poder&lt;/i&gt; &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;escriure alguna cosa sobre això&lt;/i&gt;, com succeïrà moltes vegades amb d’altres versos del volum, esdevé una mena de lletania present a cadascun dels quatre poemes i en trava la relació, la unitat.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;Poder escriure alguna cosa sobre això / si això fos cosa si això fos escriure si això fos poder&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;, ens apunta el tercer poema. Constata, així, la dificultat de l’escriptura i ens aboca a la pregunta incontestable: què és &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;això&lt;/i&gt; que porta el jo líric a escriure? &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Això&lt;/i&gt; no és, sinó que serà: serà l’&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt; un cop l’haguem (re)escrit, perquè llegir és una manera d’escriure i escriure una manera de llegir i, ambdues, com veurem més endavant, maneres de traduir, de transformar(-se). Així, i en una afirmació propera a Marguerite Duras, aprenem d’entrada que l’escriptura és l’inconegut: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span lang="FR" style="mso-ansi-language: FR;"&gt;“&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span lang="FR" style="mso-ansi-language: FR; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;"&gt;Si on savait quelque chose de ce qu’on va écrire, avant de le faire, avant d’écrire, on n’écrirait jamais. […] Écrire, c’est tenter de savoir ce qu’on écrirait si l’on écrivait – on ne le sait qu’après – avant, c’est la question la plus dangereuse que l’on peut se poser.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;I què ens en diuen d’aquest territori ignot les primeres quatre temptatives de &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;poder escriure alguna cosa sobre això&lt;/i&gt;? Un &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;tu&lt;/i&gt; que és l’altri però no forma part d’aquesta tercera persona del plural. Al costat de la escriptora anglesa, Mireia Vidal-Conte hi convocarà vàries còmplices. Una de les endreces del poemari —“A tots els jo de Virginia Woolf i Christina Rossetti”— assenyala, per tant, la poeta decimonònica, també londinenca... i a Christina Rossetti hi tornarem més endavant.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;La tercera en concòrdia: la poeta catalana Felícia Fuster. D’ella en cita versos a tall d’epígraf i li dedica un poema. A més, li adreça “El mirall d’&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt;” el poema on, de fet, s’emmiralla el llibre sencer (ja que apareix en cursiva al títol) i s’hi descobreix altri. Una composició que significativament ocupa més o menys el centre del recull i en marca una de les possibles inflexions del volum.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;La poètica que cus &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt; roman darrere el vidre i fa palès que no hi ha reflex sense transformació. Si les paraules no són les coses i escriure la realitat no és possible, la literatura —també la poesia— és &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;ficció&lt;/i&gt; (que no vol dir &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;mentida&lt;/i&gt;), més aviat &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;figuració&lt;/i&gt; i &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;re-presentació&lt;/i&gt;. L’escriptura (i la lectura) ens espilla i especula; argenta el cristall a cada línia, a cada temptativa de dir que no és possible dir sinó és amb la repetició que necessàriament són les paraules i que, tanmateix, en tant que repetició creen espai per a la diferència i per a la semblança, en definitiva, confereixen la possibilitat del moviment, de l’esdevenir. La tasca de l’escriptura resideix en provar de dir una cosa amb allò que necessàriament en diu una altra: l’alteritat i la transformació sempre invadiran l’escriptura perquè en són la seva mateixa condició de possibilitat. Sense poder entretenir-m’hi tot el que es mereix, voldria transcriure un dels poemes d’&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt; que es constitueix a través d’aquesta tensió i que me’n vull servir per assenyalar algunes particularitats de la veu que sosté el poemari.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;A banda de la referència al llenguatge i a les paraules que ja he esmentat, vull començar subratllant allò que a mi em sembla una gran troballa del poema: la identificació per homofonia i homografia de l’adjectiu &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;tens&lt;/i&gt; (&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;tibat, estirat&lt;/i&gt;) amb el &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;tens&lt;/i&gt; de la segona persona del verb &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;tenir&lt;/i&gt;. Qui escriu només té aquesta tensió i el poema ho corporitza, ho encarna, meravellosament. A més, dóna testimoni de com la veu poètica porta al límit la sintaxi i, per tant, amb ella, el procés de significació, mitjançant una sèrie d’operacions. En primer lloc la desaparició dels signes de puntuació i les majúscules, que impossibiliten saber quan comença o acaba una frase o unitat de sentit. En segon lloc l’ús de recursos com els encavalcaments que novament multipliquen les possibilitats de fer sentit i fan difícil l’atribució de funció sintàctica als sintagmes. En aquesta línia, en tercer lloc, sovint es juxtaposen peces lingüístiques sense jerarquia ni subordinació de cas, per la qual cosa és responsabilitat (necessitat?) de qui llegeix articular un sentit a partir del significat desencaixat, aïllat, però alhora en contrast amb els significats circumdants. En són un exemple molt clar els darrers versos del poema.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;Cap d’aquests recursos és exclusiu d’aquest text i tots apareixen sovint a &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural&lt;/i&gt;. La cohesió o la conformació de significats beuria sobretot de la repetició, motor constitutiu fonamental del llibre, a diversos nivells. Hi trobem repeticions rítmiques i fonètiques (al·literacions com les que conformen el poema que s’inicia amb el vers “tots i cadascun dels únics records meus”), però són molt freqüents els paral·lelismes sintàctics en l’estructuració dels versos i, sobretot, la represa i la tornada de mots o expressions. Abans de continuar i fer una incursió pels senders de la intertextualitat —o precisament per iniciar-la—, vull referir una anècdota que, al seu torn, recorda Virginia Woolf a l’article que escriu a &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;The Common Reader&lt;/i&gt;, en motiu del centenari de Christina Rossetti (1830-1894), el 5 de desembre de 1930 i que intitula “I am Christina Rossetti”. L’elecció del títol per part de Woolf ja és remarcable: tot i que —com veurem— la frase pertany a l’episodi anecdòtic, encapçalar un escrit propi amb aquesta rotunda afirmació marca la clara identificació de Woolf amb la poeta que la precedeix. Un dels &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;jo&lt;/i&gt; de Woolf, doncs, és Rossetti.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;L’esdeveniment que relata l’autora d’Orlando recull el fet que, durant una festa privada organitzada a casa de Mrs. Virtue Tebbs, sembla ser (perquè no se sap del cert què va passar exactament) la conversa va derivar frívolament en una burla, atac o denigració de la poesia. Si més no, això li deuria semblar a una dona menuda, vestida de negre, que va posar-se dempeus sobtadament, va caminar fins al bell centre de l’habitació, per afirmar amb solemnitat: “I am Christina Rossetti” i, havent pronunciat aquestes paraules a la concurrència, va tornar sobre les seves pròpies passes i va asseure’s novament a la cadira.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: left; text-indent: 21.3pt;"&gt;&lt;span lang="CA" style="mso-ansi-language: CA;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Cambria; font-size: large;"&gt;A l’admiració de Woolf per Rossetti s’hi suma el reconeixement de Vidal-Conte vers totes dues, que és &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural. &lt;/i&gt;Per això, al poemari, com el personatge de Woolf, s’hi concentren si fa o no fa tres segles. L’&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;orlandisme&lt;/i&gt; —per dir-ho així— ve lligat a l’herència d’una genealogia que es transforma però perviu o, millor, perviu transformant-se; una genealogia de dones ecriptores (Rossetti, Woolf, Fuster, Ballester, Vidal-Conte... i d’altres) que en un moment o d’altre han hagut de posar-se dempeus i dir qui eren i què feien (cadascuna a la seva manera). Si alguna cosa creua &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"&gt;Orlando natural &lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;és l’encarament ineludible de la dificultat —impossibilitat?— de l’escriptura o de la vida, quan ja s’han fet indestriables, en tant que totes dues demanen —exigeixen?... imposen?— el trànsit, la transformació, la hibridesa, ja que ben al fons —com escrivia Ferrater— el cos recorda. Deixeu que us posi un poema, aquí sota, d'un llibre que m'acaba de caure a les mans i que se m'hi ha quedat enganxat com una paparra, de tant com m'agrada. És l'Orlando natural de la Mireia Vidal-Conte, i acaba d'aparèixer publicat per Labreu a la cromàtica col·lecció de poesia Alabatre.
